Animonsta Signs With A Global Toy Company, TOMY

TOKYO - Animonsta is pleased to announce a collaboration with TOMY, a major global toy company. The new preschool animated series is based on TOMY's original vehicle based toy-line.
“Animonsta will be producing the series while TOMY’s role is in the development of the toy-line. The development of the new series will begin in 2015 and is set to be completed in 2016.” says Mr. Nizam CEO of Animonsta.
“Our company is celebrating its 90^th anniversary this year,”says  Mr. Kantaro Tomiyama, CEO of TOMY, “It is crucial for us to globalize rapidly for further growth, especially in the ASEAN region. We believe this collaboration with Animonsta will help us gain a good amount of momentum to enter the ASEAN market.
Animonsta is also discussing with TOMY on a toy deal for BoBoiBoy Galaxy, a re-brand of the current BoBoiBoy series which is already broadcasted in 44 countries.The re-brand of BoBoiBoy to BoBoiBoy Galaxy will focus more on an adventure-based storyline and will have a total of 104 episodes. BoBoiBoy Galaxy is set to be released after BoBoiBoy The Movie in Quarter 3 2015.
“We are very excited to enter into a partnership with TOMY as this marks a major breakthrough not only for Animonsta but also for Malaysia's animation industry.” says Mr. Nizam.
