Genius Intellect: Arguably, the most fearsome trait of Sōsuke
Aizen is his tremendous intellect. He is well-versed in the history,
strategy, and tactics of Soul Society, and is privy to knowledge unknown
to many, such as the existence of the Ōken, as well as the obscure method in which to create one.
He has also created several Hollows and Arrancar while avoiding
arousing any suspicion from the majority of his fellow Shinigami.
For over 110 years, he had been engaging in experiments that involved
unique and highly dangerous manipulations of spirit energy and spirit
particles, including experiments involving the Hollowfication of
Shinigami, something that had never been done before. He has an innate knowledge of the Hōgyoku, rivaling that of its creator, Kisuke Urahara; he even knows how to destroy it. He is able to figure out Shinji Hirako's Shikai ability's true nature and deduce that it produces an optical illusion, allowing him to counter its effect. He effectively deduces the true nature of the Hōgyoku via trial and error of situations that revolve around it.
Master Manipulator: He has shown himself to be a very
crafty and cunning man since his public betrayal of Soul Society. He is
able to deceive and manipulate others around him in different ways for a
variety of purposes. For years, he was able to convince everyone around
him that he was a kind-hearted man with the best intentions for Soul
Society, while performing horrific actions.[
He has a great talent for analyzing and observing everything in his
presence, allowing him to quickly understand a person's pattern of
thinking and better manipulate them. He is also a master strategist,
capable of formulating well-thought-out plans several steps ahead of
others. These plans are incredibly involved and detailed, and are
planned out with the long term in mind, making them seem slightly
convoluted. His most well known plan spans over 110 years, a great
accomplishment which involved moving people around like pieces on a
chessboard and making sure they played the role he had planned out for
them.He is masterful when it comes to "plans within plans," such as
kidnapping Orihime, allowing him to use her abilities to extend the
shelf life of the Hōgyoku, and, after the departure of Gin, Tōsen and
himself, trapping the Ryoka and four captains in Hueco Mundo, making it
easier for him to accomplish the goal of his first plan; creating the Ōken and gaining access to the Royal Dimension.
Master Tactician: He has also shown himself to be a
masterful and flexible tactician, capable of adjusting seamlessly to any
given combat situation, if not planning out events well in advance. He
understands the strengths, weaknesses and mannerisms of his enemies, and
creates strategies to achieve victory; this includes modifying an
Arrancar for the sole purpose of defeating Yamamoto, a Shinigami whose
abilities surpass his own.Though it can be said that the majority of his tactics rely heavily on
his Zanpakutō's special ability, there are few tactics better than
manipulating all the senses of your opponents, making it easier for one
to attack.Despite viewing his power as worlds beyond others, he is highly
cautious in battle, placing special protections on himself so as to
leave no blind spots
Kidō Master:
Aizen has great proficiency in using Kidō spells. He is skilled enough
to use Kidō without the use of their incantation; he used the Black
Coffin (ranked 90) spell, and even though he did not control it entirely
(utilizing only a third of the spell's original strength), it was
sufficient enough to disable fellow Captain Sajin Komamura.[152] He has even used Dankū (ranked 81) to block another Kidō attack by Tessai Tsukabishi,
who was captain of the Kidō Corps and logically the most proficient
Kidō master in the Soul Society at the time, while Aizen himself was
only a lieutenant. He can produce powerful protection spells while in battle.[154] Immense Strength: He is powerful enough to stop Ichigo's Bankai with just one index finger (albeit Ichigo was already battle-worn from fighting Byakuya Kuchiki) and almost cut him in half with a single swing of his sword.[155] He stopped Renji's Shikai with his bare hand and broke it with one swing, injuring Renji in the process.[156]
He was also able to stop Komamura's Shikai with his bare hand, proving
his strength was more than enough to combat someone of the same level. Aizen further displays his strength by effortlessly cutting through the sword and wrist of Komamura's Bankai.
Immense Spiritual Power: Even by captain standards, Aizen possesses tremendous spiritual power. Marechiyo Ōmaeda commented that Aizen's very presence is monstrously overwhelming.[159] A hint of his level of spirit power is given when he turns Wonderweiss Margela into an Arrancar before activating the Hōgyoku;
he states that despite its half-awakened state, it can be fully
activated when temporarily fusing with someone with twice as much
spiritual power as an average captain-level Shinigami (referring to
himself).[160] The force of Aizen's spiritual power is also great enough to, without any visible effort, bring the 6th Espada to his knees[161]. He has commented that it takes a lot for him not to "crush an ant" (referring to Renji) in his path.[162] He also claims that he is more powerful than all of the Espada.[163] Aizen's reiatsu is powerful enough to nullify abilities, such as when he negated Suì-Fēng's Nigeki Kessatsu technique. His reiatsu is violet.
Master Swordsmanship Specialist:
While the full extent of his prowess is unknown, Aizen can effortlessly
fight back against an opponent's Shikai and Bankai with his own blade
still sealed. He can perform tremendously powerful and precise strikes,
capable of cutting through very sturdy targets, such as Renji's Shikai.
He easily cut down four captains (two which used their Bankai) and four
Visored (with three being former captains of Gotei 13) with ease.
Shunpo Master: He is perceived to be so fast that one cannot discern even being attacked by him until after it has taken place.Aizen is shown to easily outmaneuver Ichigo's Bankai and Hollow
mask-enhanced speed, to the point where he could casually lay a hand on
his chest and still dodge a point-blank attack.[169]
He is capable of effortlessly dodging simultaneous attacks at close
range and evading Bankai level techniques. He moves so fast that
opponents commonly do not know his movements until after he has made
them, and is skilled enough in his movements to evade at high speeds,
even when being attacked from behind. It's questionable if he is as fast as Yoruichi Shihōin or Suì-Fēng, since they both caught him before he was able to unsheathe his sword to engage in battle before his escape from Soul Society.[172] Hakuda Master:
While preferring to finish his fights quickly with his Zanpakutō or
Kidō, Aizen is a highly capable unarmed fighter. Repeatedly, Aizen has
effortlessly caught his opponent's weapons with a single bare-hand.
While fighting offensively, he has shown tremendous agility and
dexterity, able to combine both sword and barehanded skills to
simultaneously strike with his sword and kick opponents with great
force.
Immortality: After being hit by Ichigo's Mugetsu he
is shown to have somewhat regenerated from the damage, though most of
his new form's features have been destroyed and do not return. He is later confirmed by the Central 46 to having been left immortal by his interaction with the Hōgyoku.
4. ulquiorra
Master Swordsmanship Specialist: Though he rarely engages in
it, Ulquiorra appears to be highly skilled in swordsmanship. He is
capable of using his speed for flawless precision and to inflict lethal
attacks without much effort.[59]
Ulquiorra prefers to wield his sword with his right hand, leaving the
other hand free, though it usually remains in his pocket. He is quite
adept at blocking. He was able to fend off Ichigo using his Hollow
mask-enhanced Bankai long enough to reach the top of Las Noches, though
his Zanpakutō was nearly broken.
Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Ulquiorra has been shown to
rely mostly on hand-to-hand combat, rarely drawing his sword at all.
Ichigo speculates that he only draws his sword against opponents he
considers "worthy". Ulquiorra also seems to prefer applying an
"off-the-ground" method of combat, often attacking opponents from aerial
standpoints, such as when he attempted to use his Cero on an offending
Grimmjow by attacking him from the air above his head, or when he jumped
upwards with Sonído in an attempt to catch Ichigo off guard during
their most recent confrontation.
His trademark attack towards prey that he likes is to impale an
opponent in the chest and gouge a hole in them in the same place as his
own.
Sonído Master: One of Ulquiorra's more noticeable traits is his tremendously skillful speed. He has demonstrated the ability to catch up with Ichigo after kicking him from a tower in a few moments. He has also shown the ability to skillfully keep up with Ichigo's Bankai speed.
Ulquiorra moves at an excessively fast speed in combat, so fast that
Ichigo found it hard to even discern his movements at first. In his
release state, he shows an even greater level of speed, astonishing and
outclassing Ichigo even further.
Keen Intellect: In addition to his remarkable combat
prowess, Ulquiorra is also gifted with great insight and understanding
of situations at hand. His intelligence is such that even Aizen, a man
arguably best-known for his intellect, harbors respect for, as he sent
Ulquiorra to investigate Ichigo's power and threat level. With his calm
and collected nature, Ulquiorra can be highly perceptive and analytical,
allowing him to easily deduce the basic idea of his opponent's skills
to figure out their strengths and weaknesses.
no. 3
zaraki kenpachi
Kenpachi did not attend the Shin'ō Academy. He is also the only captain that does not know the name of his Zanpakutō. Because of this, he cannot use Bankai. In addition, he has no apparent skill (or at least interest) in Kidō and Shunpo.
However, he more than makes up for his faults with his sheer power and
endurance, easily making him one of the strongest Shinigami in Soul
Society.
Master Swordsmanship Specialist:
Kenpachi's skill with his sword has been honed to a masterful level,
due to the lawlessness of the Zaraki district, letting him strike
multiple times with changes of attack type (from slash to pierce)
without any difficulty. His polished skills and strength with his sword
let him always fight with one hand free. He only uses both hands when
facing opponents he feels will beat him otherwise, as shown with Nnoitra
and momentarily Ichigo. His extreme cutting strength is evident in his ability to easily cut
through an Espada's Hierro, which is harder than steel, as well as slice
apart a skyscraper with a mere flick of his wrist. As the Captain of
the 11th Division, which specializes in sword fighting, he is amongst
the most, if not the most, proficient swordsmen in all of Soul Society.
Kendō: Kenpachi has also displayed considerable knowledge
and skill in Kendō. Yamamoto required Kenpachi to learn Kendō before
officially joining the Gotei 13. However, Kenpachi despises using skills
and techniques learned from another source, and therefore uses Kendō
only as a last resort.
Ryōdan (両断, "Bisection"): A technique that
Kenpachi uses when he is gripping his sword with two hands. It allows
one to split an opponent down the middle.
2. juha bach
Swordsmanship Specialist: During his short battle with Ichigo,
Juhabach displayed a certain amount of proficiency with his sword, as
he was able to land a direct hit on Ichigo Kurosaki's arm, despite the
latter's proficiency in swordplay and wielding Tensa Zangetsu, and nonchalantly clashed with and repelled the same opponent twice while only using a single arm.
Immense Spiritual Power: According to Quilge Opie, Juhabach has power paralleling that of an Espada. He defeated the 3rd Espada Tier Harribel without much difficulty, while the former Espada was "utterly powerless" before him.]
As a further testament to his power, by his own claim, amongst the
Vandenreich, only he possesses enough power to actually wield Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto's Bankai.
Reishi Manipulation: Juhabach can collect reishi
and solidify it at will. He created an intricate throne which he later
broke down with ease, and reconstructed it into a set of steps in order
to ascend to a higher level.
Blut (血装 (ブルート), burūto; German for "Blood", Japanese for "Blood Guise"):
An advanced Quincy technique that grants one inhuman offensive and
defensive capabilities, generated by making reishi flow into the user's
blood vessels. However, the independent forms for attack and defense
cannot be employed simultaneously.
Blut Vene (静血装 (ブルート・ヴェーネ), burūto vēne; German for "Blood Vein", Japanese for "Stilled Blood Guise"): Using this defensive form of Blut, Juhabach was completely unaffected by a direct hit from Ichigo Kurosaki's Bankai-enhanced Getsuga Tenshō.[29]
Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Aside from his Quincy skills, Juhabach
possesses a certain level of proficiency in hand-to-hand combat. He
quickly subdued and pinned down Ichigo Kurosaki before the latter could
react or defend himself properly, despite being armed with Tensa
Zangetsu and being a very adept martial artist in his own right.
1. vasto lorde ichigo
Master Swordsmanship Specialist: In terms of fighting style, Hollow Ichigo relies mostly on his Zanpakutō and thus would be considered a swordsmanship
specialist. His ingenuity in it is much greater than Ichigo's as he is
able to use his skill in more versatile and effective maneuvers, such as
using his Shikai as a flail, to which he has demonstrated tremendous
aim and control of where and how it will strike. While Ichigo fights in a
deductive and logical manner, Hollow Ichigo fights in a style more akin
to a berserker, relying on instinct with little to no regard towards
his own well-being.
Hollow Ichigo using Deadly Darts.
Deadly Darts (デッドリー・ダーツ, Deddorī Dātsu):[69]
A technique where Hollow Ichigo uses Zangetsu's cloth to swing his
Zanpakutō and can toss it at opponents for mid-range combat. This way
Zangetsu moves very fast when thrown, and its impact is able to damage a
building. If the person dodges the attack, Hollow Ichigo can use the
cloth to manage the sword's direction and try to hit the target once
more. By gripping the cloth he withdraws Zangetsu, and immediately
swings it to deal another attack.[70][5]
Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant:
Drawing from Ichigo's experience, Hollow Ichigo is a highly capable
unarmed fighter. While mostly relying on his Zanpakutō in battle, he
will occasionally use unarmed attacks to surprise and incapacitate his
opponents.
Highly Perceptive Combatant: Despite his arrogant and
insane demeanor, Hollow Ichigo has shown to be a very insightful and
crafty fighter. While regularly mocking Ichigo, his mocking would also
have deep rational knowledge behind it that would ultimately help Ichigo
come to better understand himself and his powers. Hollow Ichigo's
intellect has also been useful in battle. He would quickly realize
mistakes in Ichigo's own battle tactics and correct them or almost
instantly adapt to his opponent's battle tactics to perfectly counter
them.[72][73] Vast Spiritual Power:
Hollow Ichigo emits a large amount of uncontrollable red-colored
reiatsu, which alone is able to pulverize the stuff around him, as
noticed by Ichigo.[74][5] When Hollow Ichigo began taking over Ichigo's body, Ulquiorra, the fifth strongest among the Espada, commented that Ichigo's reiatsu fluctuated from weak to higher than his own.[75] His spiritual power is great enough to terrify the Visored and Hollowfied Hiyori.[76] Enhanced Strength: Hollow Ichigo is seen to be much more
powerful than Ichigo, overpowering Ichigo very easily. His physical
strength is already much greater than Ichigo's.[77][78] He can thrust his Zanpakutō into Gō Koga's doll Dalk, whilst she is in her spider form, and effortlessly push her back with it.[13]
After taking over Ichigo's body, he immediately grabbed Hiyori's
throat, breaking most of her mask, and would have choked her to death if
the other Visored hadn't interfered.[79] He is also able to thrust his Zanpakutō or to throw an opponent through a wall.[59] Shunpo Expert:
In addition of having greater raw strength, Hollow Ichigo is also
noticeably craftier and agiler in his movements than Ichigo. He can
catch Zangetsu in the air and then make a salto before landing.[80] He is also able to easily dodge a tentacle attack from Dalk,[13] or a surprise attack and to strike back as soon as possible.[2] He succeeded in grabbing Hiyori’s throat before she could defend herself.[81] His attack patterns generally are harder to read and keep up with, allowing him to strike down his opponent easier.[82][83] Enhanced Durability: As Zangetsu fired a second Getsuga
Tenshō at Ichigo, his inner Hollow took control and emerged from the
dust from the destroyed wall with no visible damage.[59] Advanced Growth Rate: Like Ichigo, Hollow Ichigo has the
same astounding growth rate. He gains any power that Ichigo does,
evidenced by his use of Bankai. He was even able to use the black
Getsuga Tenshō before Ichigo, despite both learning Bankai around the
same time. His own Getsuga Tenshō is incomparably stronger than
Ichigo's.[84] His actual limit is unknown, as he was never in any case seen fighting with all of his strength.
The mask used as a shield in the fight against Kenpachi.Mask Shielding: Because Ichigo's body is necessary for his
very existence, Hollow Ichigo would protect it with his mask. During
Ichigo's more difficult battles, the Hollow would manifest the mask to
block attacks on Ichigo's body from within his robe, serving as a shield
to stop or lessen attacks on him, sometimes saving his life. One
example is when the mask blocked several hits from Renji Abarai's
Zanpakutō, which could have been fatal. Although the mask was thrown
away afterwards, it reappeared while Ichigo was fighting Kenpachi Zaraki, preventing his torso being cut in two.[21][26] After the Soul Society arc, the mask is no longer used as a shield.
Ichigo Kurosaki under control of his inner Hollow.Possession: Hollow Ichigo is capable of taking over Ichigo's
body and powers when Ichigo falls unconscious in a fight. In this
occurrence, Ichigo's sclera blacken and his irises glow golden-yellow in
combination with a Hollow mask forming on the left side of his face.[85][86] If the mask gets shattered, Ichigo will regain control over his body.[87][88] During his time as the dominant spirit inside Ichigo's mind, Hollow Ichigo could also call out to Ichigo,[30] eventually interrupting his thought process,[32]
and try to take over in the middle of a fight. If Ichigo managed to
drive him back, only his eyes would change for a moment and the mask
wouldn't begin to form.[31][33] The Hollow's influence was great enough to force Ichigo's eye to blacken while Ichigo was in his Human body.[89]
Ichigo Kurosaki in his Full Hollow formHollow Form: When Hollow Ichigo takes full possession of
Ichigo's body, the body undergoes a full transformation into a Hollow
creature. His mask resembles a Human skull, complete with a jaw joint
and rounded forehead and has dark-red stripes on the left side. This
full Hollow is shown as a white humanoid lizard with three-toed feet and
a tail with black marks all over its noticeably more muscular body. It
possesses long orange hair and reptilian eyes seen through the eyeholes
on its full mask. Unlike normal Hollows, this form used an actual
weapon, using Zangetsu much like Ichigo himself does.[90][91] When Ichigo's powers are somewhat restored by Kagerōza Inaba's Mod Soul
equipment, the mask takes the design of his second Hollow form.
Additionally, the fur around the wrists is colored red instead of grey.[64]
High-Speed Regeneration: Like some Hollows, this form shows the ability to instantly regenerate any wound and even a missing limb.
Enhanced Getsuga Tenshō: The Full Hollow's Getsuga Tenshō
appears as completely surrounding Tensa Zangetsu. The extent of its
power is currently unknown as it has never been utilized in this form.[93]
Enhanced Spiritual Power: Even when only partially
transformed, the Hollow's spiritual power is greatly increased. Upon
awakening, the Hollow form was powerful enough to break free from a
full-powered Level 75 Bind Spell.[94]
Full Hollow Ichigo charging a Cero
Cero:
This Hollow transformation can fire a potent Cero from either his
fingertips or his hand entirely. The blast is strong enough to overpower
a Getsuga Tenshō from Zangetsu
himself and throw him into a nearby building with great force. This
Cero is crimson and tri-focused, and was powerful enough to warrant Love Aikawa summoning his Hollow mask.[95][59]
Enhanced Strength: This full Hollow form was able to push back Kensei Muguruma with little effort, and put all of the Visored on the defensive with just brute force.[90] It was also able to headbutt Zangetsu and send him flying.[59]
High Speed: While in this state, his speed also increases greatly. After breaking free from a Kidō spell, he quickly appeared behind Yushima to attack him. However, he wasn't fast enough as Yushima could successfully stop his assault.[65]
Extra Appendage: In his full Hollow form, he is able to
grow a large worm like appendage from various locations on his body
(during his Visored training the arm, and in the Zanpakutō arc it
emerged from his chest), this appendage will attack trying to consume
Hollow Ichigo's current target.[96][59]
Enhanced Endurance: In addition to advanced recovery
powers, Hollow Ichigo in this form is equally difficult to injure. After
being elbowed and pushed back by Kensei, he got up quickly and
continued his assault.[97] He is able to take multiple direct and close-range Hadō spells of at least mid-level completely unfazed.[64]
